Wildcat Picatinny Airtube mount

I have created a solution to the FX Wildcat not having a picatinny rail to mount a bipod. FX offers a solution that clamps onto the air tube; however, their clamp costs $60 plus shipping. I decided to 3d print a mount that goes around the air tube. I used a picatinny mount template from online and added the proper sizing of the air tube to create this. I then had one of my friends with a 3d printer print it out for me. So it goes over the air tube and still allows the bipod to move a little to adjust for canting. The photos below are of what I came up with. If anyone is interested in one then contact me and we can work out a fair price. The deign will be cut down the picatinny rail to allow you to tighten the bipod however tight you would like to allow as much or little moving as possible.

That's pretty cool, Mark! I bet you could incorporate a barrel band into your design as well.

I could definitely incorporate a band into the design, but I am not convinced of their benefits right now. I would like to believe that FX has done their research and the free floating barrel design that they have is the best option. I also think it would be more difficult than it sounds to incorporate as you have to consider that there are slight nuances between the design and the final print, resulting in real world difficulty.

The new design that I have developed has a relief cut right along the rail so that the bipod itself will do the clamping to hold it in place. Below is a photo of the new design.

 Mark, that's awesome.
That isometric view is what I've been wishing to have machined out of aluminum for my Crickets, with the bi pod securing it in place, just as you have there.
I also considered a couple small screws for tightening, (If aluminum) so the bi pod could be removed and reinstalled without removing or adjusting the mount. 
I've wondered just how tight the bi pod would clamp that style of mount though. I assume just fine. 
If you decide to do Cricket sizes, I need two. Maybe three......

Do you know if it could be made for the cricket without touching the shroud? The gap between the air tube and shroud on my cricket is less than what my bobcat is.

Can you post a photo? See if you can fit a nickel, quarter, or dime in the gap. Those all can be used as a good, common, universal sizing tool.

It's too tight to slip a dime through.

That would be too tight then. It could be theoretically printed, but it will have be strong enough. It would most likely snap on its first use.
