You won't be disappointed with the R5M Matador. Ed really put out a great design with the R5M. They are easy to work on, accurate, and reliable.

i have both...Fx wildcat mk1 25cal and R5 Matador.30 Standard with huma Regulator...My go to gun is the R5 Matador...The Fx wildcat is a good fun (IF) you get one with no issues...i was lucky to get a good one...but i Recently sold it here on AGN...the guy i sold it to re-sold it to get a Edgun R5M....Edguns guns are super Accurate, built like a tank and super easy to work on if need be....My personal Option Edgun are a much better gun In terms of Durability and Accuracy...Fx seems to have a bad reputation with Quality control...![]()

I'll just throw it out there, since we're mainly talking about EDgun and FX Wildcats, but take a look at the Cricket and the Taipan Veteran. Better triggers than the Ed, just as if not more accurate, capable of just as high if not higher power in standard length, reliable, easy to work on, and, did I say ACCURATE? The only downside I see is that the cocking lever is at the rear, vice in the middle of the Ed and WC. And then there's the Vulcan... Many great choices. If it were me, starting over, I'd buy the .25 Taipan Veteran and have enough money left over for a nice scope and bipod...![]()
Better triggers than the Ed,
DHow do I spend my hard earned money fix wildcat or edgun matador

I have not yet had the pleasure of owning an EDgun. Owners of this gun do rave about it.
However, I can tell you that the FX Wildcat is the "Gold Standard" in Bullpups.
Compact, lightweight, powerful, accurate and trouble-free. What's not to like about this .25 caliber thumper?
