Wondering what you guys are using to remove the valve seat on your wildcat? I've seen the tool that ernest uses and I know I've seen it before but for the life of me I can't find it with a Google search. So what are your creative ways to get it out, that won't be a pain?

The best way is to file a small notch in a pair of hemostats. When you pull the seat out you will have to apply a decent amount of force to keep the pliers open so the hemostats don’t slip out. I have used this a few times and it does the job! Good luck bud!

Thanks I will have to find one of those. Would longer ones be better for leverage to hold it?

Walmart has them in the fishing section some times or you can also try Cabelas or a fishing store, they carry them. If your not in a big hurry Amazon carries them for $7 just search for forceps or hemostats.
Any length will work, just make sure you leave a flat grind towards the tip of the pliers to grab the alive seat when pulling out.

Same here, I had a couple of pairs floating around, so I put the little notches in one of the pairs. It worked quite well!
