I installed a Huma regulator and power plenum.It now leaks at the little vent hole and around the screw in cap. I have tried different orings but it is still leaking. Maybe I need some new ones. ALSO I am perplexed at how the power plenum and regulator seal. One oring only on the regualtor doesn't look that it would seal. Any thoughts? The regulator butts up to the spacer without any type of seal.

The plenum end that butts up against the reg should have an o ring cut into the flat edge of that plenum so it seals to the bottom of the reg.
And at the opposite end of the plenum closest to the rear end cap there should be an o ring on the outer surface.
And at the opposite end of the plenum closest to the rear end cap there should be an o ring on the outer surface.

You must be carefull when pushing the reg and endcap over the threads in the tube. Also use some lube. If it is already leaking you might have to replace some O-rings.I would also check that the spacer coming with the huma reg has the correct length. You probably know that you can not use the old spacer for the huma reg.

Final thoughts, as this is what I’ve experienced-
If you over saturate your o rings and add on to an already lubed up air tube, theirs a good chance(even with new o rings, worse yet when reusing old o rings)the HPA on the fill side of the reg is pushing so hard against the reg o ring and causing it to roll out of its groove, due to the excess of lube.
Pull the reg out, completely clean the air tube with acetone to get all the old lubes off. Then, in the area that the reg sits in inside the tube, lightly scuff that area with 2000 grit wet n dry sandpaper. Re wipe the tube with acetone.
Now lightly lube your NEW o rings prior to insertion. Your o rings will now have a better grip against the sides of the air tube.
All of this is assuming the o rings inside the reg are in perfect condition.
