WildCat Mk1 700mm superior liner

This is a .22 cal that belongs to a mate. He wanted to convert it to a 700mm sniper. This is now a solid carbine fibre barrel. The steps in the barrel were 10mm-12mm-14mm so using cf of the same dimensions was quite simple.
The brass transfer port is treaded onto the liner. It isn’t the full 9mm diameter but enough to hold it there no problem. I also used JB weld to strengthen it up.
Made up the end piece to protect the cf and attach a shroud or silencer if needed. It is 60mm long. 10mm inside diameter so the first cf tube goes through this piece. then the outer cf slides over 30mm to give it more strength so 30mm is exposed.
Just finished glueing it with epoxy and will try shooting it tomorrow morning. All seems to fit well and was quite straight forward to do.

Thanks guys. Shot it today and it all went really well. It’s cheaper than a barrel kit that for sure I didn’t mention there is an oring between the cf and brass tp. 9x1mm. You just need to measure everything carefully before you glue it together. The 9x1mm die isn’t that common a size unfortunately had to buy that. Still came in at around $300 Aus for everything which is less than half a barrel kit here in Oz And you can’t buy the barrel kit without the magazine and probe I know a barrel kit would be of no use for a mk1 but I mean making a solid cf barrel as an alternative to buying a barrel kit generally Instead of swapping a liner change the whole barrel

Brings the mk1 right up to spec.
