I’ve looked at some threads regarding magazine indexing issues but didn’t find anything to address what I’m running into (although my search-fu has been off as of late). Long/short my 22 Wildcat Mk1 had developed a tendency lately to over-cycle the magazine when I’m cocking with more force so it’s moving past the next cylinder by 1/4-1/2. This started as an occasional issue and now it repeats each time. The problem here is when I’m trying to put follow up shots in vermin and have a limited shot window so the cycling is faster and at this point it’s jamming 100% of the time. Has anyone had this issue and found a resolution? I’m wondering if the gouge in the magazine has gotten to the point it’s slipping.
