Wildcat Magazine Modifications

I had an idea a while back on a way to keep track of how many pellets you got left in a Wildcat mag. I think I'm dyslexic or something along that line because I kept dry firing on an empty chamber. I'm also going to show off Matt's neat little mag holders and no, I'm not on his payroll, dang it. What I did was lightly drill a couple of small shallow holes and dropped a little yellow and red paint down in them. When I insert the mag full of pellets I point the red dot straight out when I close the bolt. When it comes back around clockwise the yellow dot will show up first indicating your on the last pellet or maybe the next to the last, see told you I have issues and then the red will follow indicating empty.

I didnt do any drilling. Just marked mine with a sharpie and then make sure when I load the mag in the receiver that I can see the mark I made then when the last round in the mag is loaded you can glance down and see the marking on the mag and you know it's empty

On my matador when I see one pellet remaining above the breech block then I know I have 2 shots left. I can't remember but I want to say my wildcat was the same way. Thats a great idea Jimmy and a mod that anyone can easily do themselves!

My pictures have vanished into thin air. I'll check and see if I can get them back up. Addairgunner, I was doing something similar on my WC mags but it wore off pretty fast.

Saw the pictures this morning. That's a great idea, Jimmy! I'm gonna do that to my Wildcat mags.

1st the green dot comes around, then the white and finally red.
