My gen1 has always been a great shooter with in its limits. Wondering if the barrel and probe is interchangeable with maverick?

I wound not have thought so*, where it mine, I would be happy shooting it "with in it's limits".
I dare say you will get your Maverick shooting well, and then it can be your go to gun for pushing the limits.

I’d be interested to know if it’d be possible to swap out my drinking straw (STX) for a gen 1 since I keep asking about a “superior” in .177 &.......

I would have a custom poly LW barrel made to drop in fit and have the retaining collar and TP machined right in if I went through all the grief and wasted time and ammo you been through.
