Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for adding a sling stud to the back of my wildcat compact? Which stud kit, and beyond drilling a hole what else is involved ?

Wildcat compact sling setup.

I installed Uncle Mike sling swivel posts to my Wildcat about two years ago. I simply followed the instructions provided with the swivel/post kit. Of course I removed stock from the air tube, action and barrel before drilling. I found it very easy to do. (I've done this with a few wood stocks in the past). I was pleased how well the posts hold.
I've posted a few pictures below. You can see the fore end and butt stock before I had the stock dipped in Sitka Alpine Camo. I've also attached the latest picture of the rifle after having been dipped. I've added a Huggett Belita LDC on the rifle since these pictures, today in fact.

Since the WCC has a pic rail on top I would suggest looking at a single point sling mount. I use one on my Impact and really like it
