Wildcat 25 mag problem....

First and always, I hope this finds everyone reading in good health and spirits!
I have two problems that I need advice on. My Wildcat is relatively new (10 months) and rarely used since my first love is my Bobcat MK2 in .22 caliber. On the Wildct the magazine indexing problem comes up if I do not cycle a round in unless I yank the bolt back and upon doing so the mag pops out of the gun unto the ground...
I thought the problem may come from the arm not being smoothed out like Mr. Rowe's helpful information supplied but upon closer exam my mags do not have the scarring some members describe - but there is a little line but no gouging as I thought earlier.
If anyone has some suggestions please post! Thank you for your help and time in advance!

I had to replace the breech o-ring in my Wildcat a while back and used the AOA video on how to remove the barrel to accomplish the task. One thing in the video was to get the barrel in the right depth to hold and allow the magazine to function. Could be you barrel has loosen up and moved forward. Check out the video to see what I am talking about. Those that have replaced the barrel o-ring say all you really need to do is take off the cheek piece and loosen the two barrel set screws to accomplish the task. So in your case you just need to check the barrel set screws for tightness to see if the barrel has moved forward or was too forward to start. Then try adjusting the barrel back to achieve the right amount on tension on the magazine. Hope this helps and is the problem. Bill
