Wildcat 22

At the present time I have a maurder with a moderator nice gun I wasn't sure about accuracy with pcp's but now it looks good. I want to take the next step which is buy a wildcat i am a purple martin land lord my reason for the gun was to take out the pest birds starlings and sparrows which has worked flawlessly. I do like shooting the gun but want more accuracy so my point. Is it worth waiting for the new wildcat or not the rumors are liner barrel power adjustment and a huma regulator is it worth the price of time to wait ? I don't need a power adjustment or change calibers. the only thing would be the huma regulator which seems to be the ticket for a lot of people next choice would be what kind of moderator. My maurder is pretty quiet the quieter the better for me as not to disturb my purple martins?

Don’t know anything about the wildcat II but rumblings of the smoothtwist barrel. As far as accuracy, don’t know how you can beat the accuracy of today’s wildcat. It’s just lazer accurate. There have been some doing good stuff with the Huma reg, but even most of them say the fx reg is good and don’t fix it if it isn’t broke. My 22 wildcat is factory stock and has over 30K rounds through it with no problems. I have a Huma but won’t install it till it’s needed. One thing to consider. If a new model shows up there will be some good deals on a used wildcat. Plus dealers will discount their new, old stock. Sylvan

I bought a WC .22 about two weeks ago and frankly I don't see how it could be improved, at least for accuracy. It's is crazy accurate right out of the box, the trigger is fantastic and it handles well. I have 3 sections of FX moderator on mine and it's backyard friendly, for super quiet you could add more sections or a Huggett etc...
