That smile is after her fifth hit in a row at 25 yards on half eaten black walnut husks, her first time using it. I'm consistently hitting same husks at 50 yards (8 MOA holdover). This gun is doing surprisingly well in the wind, sending Crosman Premiers at 725 fps avg. Next month a bunch of kids are going to be smiling like that... Can't wait. If the weekend allows will run three chrono strings across the three TP settings.

@ratzilla, this is the first of my PCPs that can be adapted to her smaller size, so am hoping she will join in more. She stated the Atomic was "easy to shoot" and she like "the easy cocking motion of the side lever". I have a much smaller scope on the way which will be in proper proportion to the gun. The current scope, while awesome is too long.

@douger, put an Atomic in her hands it really is nicely proportioned as a mini carbine for smaller adults or children. My wife is not a shooter, but she really liked the size and easy handling of the Atomic. I asked if she envisioned using it again and she said yes, but on the spinners!!🙀 And though I love my wife, I don't want her getting attached to my Atomic.😏

@ezana4ce, I did teach her the basics of firearms handling and shooting, pistols and rifles. The mechanics are similar, so no, other than a brief overview of operation. I just stood back and watched. The Atomic has been shooting sweetly, I can't believe the hits I'm getting out to 50+ yards. I will post up Chrono numbers and some more consecutive 5 shots groups as time allows.
