Why you should eat canned goods.

Well set it up with a little sand and for the 50y trap base near perfect.

When we moved back in 1999 we found a case of ild beer cans left over from a friends wedding. Probably over 15 yrs old and yes it was bad, but still had lots of fizz !! Shot a number of them which made awesome foaming explosions !! Also set a few into a campfire with the pull tab ends down. Beer rockets !!
Some shot well over 200 ft in the air with a foam trail !! Gotta love old cans that are still full....
That cheap Canadian "hams" beer ( from the land of sky blue water🤤) for like a dollar a case and let it get hot in the sun , shake it up and shoot.. man talk about spewing everywhere..lol.

As much fun as cans are, I prefer some sort of plastic pill bottle. They will take 3-4 times the hits that a tin can will. They also give a more consistent report since they don't get blown out so quickly. Over all more satisfying to shoot IME. 1/2 the time with tin cans (after 30 or so shots), you can't tell if you hit it or not because there are big gaping holes in the tin. You don't get this problem with the pill bottles as the holes kinds of "self heal" and close up to the point they're smaller in diameter than the pellet.

Also, a fun game to play is to make a shelf that four tin cans (or pill bottles) will sit on. Drill holes in both the tin cans and the shelf. Put string through the tin cans and the holes in the shelf. Make the string long enough (10-12") that the tin cans can fall off the shelf and swing. Now set the tin cans up on the shelf. Shoot one off the shelf and then try to hit it again as quickly as possible before it stops swinging. Then move on the the next one and repeat.
