Why so many rifle scopes for sale the past 2 months?

I notice there are a lot of rifle scopes for sale in the last few months, so it tells me many members are selling off there airguns and not getting replacement rifle or there up grading to newer scope, what do you think it is?
I was fortunate to selling mine in a few hours on a competitive airgun sight, it sat unsold here with so much competition on the classified

I can only speak for myself. I bought two new scopes so now I have more scopes than guns, thus I am selling.

lot of new products /scopes / more gizmos on the scopes . but i think like me i am changing what i need in a scope .

It's a combination of things for me, I have recently purchased a couple new scopes to use with my scope-cams, and have also sold a few airguns that weren't being used I have found myself with more scopes than I know what to do with, so I'm slowly weeding through them and selling the ones I feel are worthy. I still have a stash of cheap scopes, most came on an airgun that I have since sold, but most would cost more to ship than they are worth! I'm saving them for a garage sale!
