Why not 28 cal?

There is most likely one primary reason. That is sales volume = profitability. This market is currently so much smaller than PB's it will probably only happen with custom jobs till such a time the market will support it. Then the ever loving battle of 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, etc... "But I like ??mm better", "no sir your crazy xy mm is best" "go to hell idiot!"

History repeats itself.

Special barrels with specific twist rate, groove / land specs etc ..... Then you do it all over again on where to get AG spec soft lead bullet of correct size ?

For enough MONEY you can have any caliber you wish ... who's gonna be first ?

Well Motorhead, "I am" doing it for the airgun community.

I have had the mandrel made and it is at TJs for anyone who wants one in the future. I've got two barrels at Dyotat100s to go into Texans, I've got one barrel that's going into a FLEX and one that's going into a Pitbull so we can test in various guns. I tried to find a way to get Bob/rsterne a barrel but the asinine US export laws prevented it*.

And there is a mold available at Arsenal mold as shown in the thread and Accurate has a mold AND I am negotiating with Al at NOE for several new .284 bullets to be made... a 68gr, a 78gr (by me) and Bobs worked up a 92gr too so that we have a range of weights available that bracket the slower 18" twist.

Let's have some positive thought waves here, yes? 😁

I'm going by the "If you build it they will come" method,

* Anybody got any clue on how to ship or deliver an airgun barrel to Canada? I couldn't find a legal way and TJs didn't know a way.

I don't se why people go stupid about it..if you don want it don't buy it..if some one never try to shoot bullets from a aigun we still be shooting pellets.and be stuck with shooting 50y..in every hobby that is available the whole point is to try something different and new..if not at least for me will become boring...no body is saying you have to buy it..for me and a few more is good to se people take the initiative like kinetic45 and make life easier for us to follow..if we want..me I'm in..would like to try. 243 to..👍
