why no wildcats in .177

Regarding setting the power on a wildcat, I am currently using a P rod for controlling pigeons around parking buildings inner city. It works really well and the compact size is perfect. So if the wildcat had a power adjuster like the cyclone I would jump at one. If the hst is adjusted, what power can the wildcat be set down to before the regulator needs adjusting?
