What is the reason for this? It does it with all types of pellets and slugs... and with shorter slugs, it does it more often...

My 25 cal. FX magazine does the same thing with 29 gr slugs. . I have an original side shot magazine that works perfect.

I usually only fill the mag half full with slugs. Seems to not do it as bad for some reason.

It is a problem, but sadly, not all that uncommon. My Raptor 30 cal mags suffer the same thing. Pellets, OK, slugs, depends on size, like you've discovered.

Seems to be a issue with height, taller projectiles almost never cart wheel in my experience. I load mine up then shake the mag as hard as I can in all directions to verify it won't tip over when in use.

@fx-usa Have the magazine tolerances changed, or why do many magazines not work with shorter pellets and especially with slugs?
