Skout Why I Changed my Epoch Barrel.

It's spot on really 100 times better than either of the STD barrels I have which are destined for the bin unless I can find another use for them, this was a quick test when I first fitted it in my small garden 25yds 15 shots through the same hole the lower one was the first sighter.

This was at the range testing pellets at 35yds, ignore the right-hand Colum, it's only the marked ones.

Thanks for the update good to know. I got very simler results with barrel polishing and jsb heavys. I'm just trying to find that elusive 250 card from this gun (I should have got an anschutz 9015).
Wished skout spent a bit more time on the sub12 testing then it would be a epic/epoch gun.

First off I am the stonemason, second high resolution close-ups show a lot of detail, try it sometime on one of your barrels that you think is perfect.

@nervoustrig you seem to be a man who knows what he is talking about, as for how it's done in the UK you cannot get barrel blanks for air rifle of more than 615mm and the Skout liners are 630mm, so I had to make up a spacer.

That is actually a second barrel I was sent, the first was worse!

The spacer was a simple dual diameter job close-fitting on both the new barrel and the original screw cap, like the one in the pic, made of alloy and works perfectly.
