Why did they stop makeing the Sig Sauer ASP20?

I do think that being primarily a firearm company they didn't want to keep putting resources into something that was such a small part of their bottom line. What I wish they would have done is sell the rights of it to HW or Crosman or someone to continue to make and support then since it really is a very good design.

 From what I've encountered they have more interest in producing tactical style airguns that are simply built like toys, the Virtus is a perfect example. Disposable box store guns with cheap plastic internals with zero durability or longevity to function. The ASP20 was a fairly nice shooting gun but not competitive at all for the price point compared to other offerings.
