who's thankful??

Hi all..
I have wanted to start this thread and express my thankfulness for this site.. I also wanted to say how much I appreciate the wonderful moderators who keep it clean and running..I also want to thank everyone who meaningful contributes information.. what brought this to the top for me was the moderator posting the video on terrifs and how they affect this industry and hobby..
yes some of the posts have gotten fairly political and I think just to let the information flow the moderator has overlooked a lot of things that would normally get the thread locked.. maybe people banned..
I also agree with a lot of the political posts and disagree with others.. that's us as humans.. But this forum is not a political forum..
so I just want to show my appreciation for this site, moderators and you who contribute..
now is anyone else thankful?? I'd really like to see a long big shout-out thread thanking for this site and the people who work hard to make it work and keep it running.

I'll jump in and say I too appreciate being able to talk about this as well without being silenced. It's gotten a bit political but nowhere near close to as bad as it could get or I expected it to get.

Expressing your opinion without getting political is not that hard. And that goes for all topics, not just the tariff one. It’s difficult to hold back what you have bottled up politically but you have to think before you type. I always put keeping a good topic alive before my own personal feelings. Sometimes it seems like guys want to get a topic locked or get satisfaction out of being the one who did it. You see the warnings from the moderators and yet they just keep going. Or maybe they’re drunk. Who knows. Either way, this is the best forum I’ve ever been on.

myself the closest thing I have ever had to this forum was 35 years ago I used to get Tom Gaylord AKA BB Pelletier newsletter.. yes it was wonderful and actually in print and came in the mail..I subscribed to it and paid yearly and it was worth it..
but this forum has so many people and a lot of them have a lot of great information..
it's also nice to welcome newcomer's here and help them if possible.. unfortunately sometimes they are so new they don't even know what to ask.. but I'm thankful for those that try to help

I've been a member of many forums over the past 2 decades. I've been on here since 2015 and rarely open another forum unless there's a message from a member of that one. The Best knowledge and community I've seen for those that are new, hobbiest, hardcore, or in the business. It's all right here. Thanks to at least two of the people that I've looked up to since I got fairly deep in the hobby and that's Ted and Michael. They are truly great guys and assets to the sport.

I posted one time while drinking. It was the only way I could effectively communicate with a certain member. The next day when I saw the topic, all I could think was good grief. It was like the scene from Family Guy at the Irish pub.

My airgun hobby wouldn't exist without AGN. I've personally thanked them on occasion for all they do to keep this such a great, meaningful, helpful, friendly and successful platform. I've only been here 3 yrs but I've been glued to it since day 1.
I'd like to see the AGN merch updated / expanded... I'd proudly wear some cool AGN merch.

AGN for me has been a wonderful place to come to to discuss all things involving Air Guns. Good folks, willing to help and a great, bright format that is easy to navigate. My airgunning hobby took off after joining AGN and I will ever be grateful for that. I visit almost everyday, seems I can’t stay away.

Nice Mark! I think the people who keep AGN up & running do & always have done an outstanding job! Not only in the technical aspect but having to "referee" the knuckleheads they have to deal with. I know, I've been one of them a couple times (knucklehead, not moderator). The technical & people skills that go into keeping "us" up & running is almost superhuman!!!

Probably shouldn’t weight in but what the heck. I personally have many odds to how this site is run. However it isn’t my site and I still will come here until I get myself perm banned as it’s where everyone is just like YouTube. I will give credit where it’s due though and kudos to this site for letting the tariff thread run. No vote cast by me.

AGN rates highly in my opinion and the Mods do a great job as well.

Don't cut yourselves short as members, it takes good members to make this place sing also.......I used to be an Admin on a motorcycle forum and at times that place could get really nasty. A lot of drunk posting there and other issues?
