Who's slugs do you prefer to use?

In a 22 slug I like the Varmint Knockers 32.80 grain slug in the FX 800mm barrel
For the 25 cal the VK 34 grain XLHP shoot very well in superior heavy barrel 1055 fps

my .22 mk2 crown with 600mm superior liner prefers FX hybrids @ 1065fps out to and past 100yrds.
on a good day, i can touch 5 at 100....
i have tried many others also.

I stick with the most commonly available slugs in the US: NSA, H&N, and ZAN. I've tried reaching out to AVS on several occasions, both on the phone and in email to only radio silence, so they must be out of business. No need to place and order if no one is home. I've tried Griffen and Mr. Hollowpoints to only lackluster performance. The custom makers are much more expensive. In my experience the "big three" are the only ones to do business with. Their products deliver with a price point similar to pellet prices.

So far the 22 grain ZAN slugs shoot best in my RAW HM1000X LRT. The lighter NSA slugs aren't even close.

For me, shooting at 100 yards, nothing surpasses pellets except ZAN.

I was a longtime NSA fan for awhile, but now I have superior results using the FX Hybrid Slugs out of my FX Maverick VP .30cal. The .30cal have been utterly devastating on groundhogs!

I have been using NSA, 29.5s for 25 cal Avenger and NSA 110gr in AEA challenger. I just ordered 125gr Flanigan's.

I've used NSA, Griffin, Lucky7, Apex, Flanigans, Pro Slugs, FX and H&N slugs

Currently NSA are my go-to due to variety of weights, lowest prices, and consistent accuracy. I'm only shooting .30 caliber slugs these days. Bigger bore and there are some interesting options from the boutique shops.
