Who makes LOW Cantilever Mounts (30mm and 34mm)?

Who makes LOW Cantilever Mounts (30mm and 34mm)?

Most of what I have found state 1.5" (3.8cm) from center of ring to top of picatinny rail. = too much!


Also, I need 2" (5cm) cantileverage.

If I can get it, I'd love QD.

Any suggestions?

I know what you mean man. This is hard to find! I’m not sure I’ve seen any 34s in less than around that 1.5” mark.

There are some in 30mm below 1.5”, but then finding 2” offset also is hard. I know I have had a NF down to 1.125 and 1.375 but they aren’t offset 2”. I have a set of Badgers that are 1.3”, but I am almost positive they aren’t offset that much either. I can check. At most, both of those are maybe 1” offset.

The only ones I can remember seeing are Leapers UTG in 30mm in 1.3” and 2” offset. 34s are 1.5” tall and same 2” offset. I have only used one set of UTG rings and didn’t keep them, so I can’t comment on their long term effectiveness. Many people love them for the low price.

Thanks for the tips. I found a Geissele mount, 1.35" low, but wow, 350$ is more than most of my scopes cost....

Take a look at the athlon mount — looks like 1.43 height in 34 mm

I have one, I can always measure the offset if you need.

The pellet shop has these in stock in both 0 moa and 20 moa

I'm publishing the list of what I have found so far.

Please, do not be offended as I was at some of the prices, both high and low.... Some of these are made to withstand 50cal recoil perfectly, because lives depend on it. That kind of justifies the price....


Most of the lowest mounts I found got as low as 1.5" (±0.1") from rail to scope saddle.... — they are easy to find so I do not even mention them in this list (unless they had something special to offer).

Still open for more suggestions!

* The webpage says: "Height: 1.420" from top of 1913 to tube center." For the Extended mount: 1.575" ➔ Well, for which tube size is this true? I am going to assume it is true for the most common tube, i.e., 30mm, and so 1.420 isn't bad (1.575 less so). The mount base would have to be progressively lower if this same height applied to 34 and 35mm as well.

** Careful (unless I'm thinking this wrong): If you want mount your scope further forward with a cantilever mount, the MOA cant will work for you. But, if you want to mount your scope further backward with the cantilever, the MOA will work against you, you will have 20MOA less elevation adjustment available in your turret with a mount with MOA cant. In that case better buy a 0-MOA mount. | For this latter arrangement, only the Burris AR-Signature QD P.E.P.R. Mounts allow you to increase MOA cant because the 20 MOA cant is not built into the mount but is achieved with shims.
