I use a Pro Chronograph Digital, it seems to do the job.
I have the serial interface that i run to a small netbook to save the results in a excel file rather than writing them down.
It holds a lot of results.
It also suffers from the same issues as most Chronies with having the right sort of light for correct sensing and operation.
I made up a LED light strip for use indoors that attaches to the diffusers.
You can get a Bluetooth module for it that will allow you to log data to your phone/tablet as well (although finding one in Australia seems a bit of a challenge - at least for a price I want to pay.)
