Who makes a 30 cal slug barrel for the Prophet 2?

I am still on the fence between several PCP guns for my next higher priced purchase. I quite like the RTI Prophet 2 and the price leaves room for optics when compared to higher dollar guns. The one I am borrowing does extremely well with JSB pellets but due to the Choke in the 30 Cal it does not do well at all with slugs. I remember reading somewhere that RTI makes 22 and 25 cal barrels that handle slugs, but not the 30....unless that was some other make. I can't find the page.

I have a Prophet Performance with a .30 cal barrel. It loves the JSBs but it also will shoot the Zan .300 45.5 gr slugs. I have not run any other through it as it likes these and once I find a pellet the barrel likes, I usually stop there. I may have gotten lucky with mine and I am considering getting one of the RPB barrels in .25 so I can use even more slugs. I have 3 barrels now and that's the beauty of the Prophet - change them out as needed. The .22 LR barrel is great for longer distance accuracy and doesn't cost near as much to shoot!

If you end up with a prophet 30 and want a slug barrel for it, find out the appropriate twist and preferred type of rifling and buy a barrel blank. Then have a good machinist duplicate your 30 barrel with the blank. I have had Paladin Machine Service make several suppressor mounts ,two barrels, and misc. parts for me. Top work, fast, and the one thing you can never find with quality - cheap. I'll guarantee he will do a perfect job cheaper than any other qualified machinist you will ever find.

He has done a lot of work for some of the big names in AR development, and has a strong reputation. I live close enough to him I just drive there, just over an hour one way. He is retired from real job, and just does machine work to supplement retirement. Lost his FFL in the Carter years when the feds drove most "kitchen table FFL's" out of business. He couldn't get the county to rezone his workshop as commercial to keep it. Blame the liberal neighbor for complaining at rezoning meeting.
