It seems crosman has changed a bit since the only time I ever used there warranty. I had a used marauder less than 1 year old ( used to be 1 yr warranty) told them it was used and I watned to buy a part but they asked for the serial number and said it was still covered so they sent a free part to resolve the problem. Great service & maybe just being ( too ) nice?
Crosman used to say "This product is warranted to the retail consumer for one year from date of retail purchase against defects in materal and workmanship and is transferable."
Now they have a 5 year ( outstanding!) warranty and make no mention of transfering , except for custom shop which does NOT.
They do say "receipt ... " as well as " - for some not all rig- " Product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year. Buyer should retain the original sales receipt as record of date of purchase. If no receipt, the Product is warranted for 1 year from date of manufacture. " Hum.
So, anyone have current up to date straight from cosman i9nformation on there new warranty policy & procedures?
