Took the .25 Delta Wolf out ground squirrel pesting this morning with my buddy Gerry. Here is White Fang’s first kill.

Muzzle Velocity - 881 FPS

Ammo - JSB .25 Exact Heavy

Distance - 49 yards 

FPE - BRUTAL!

Nah, I was doing that Summer 2019 but have gotten away from it. The shooting the video is not that much of a pain, but making the video takes time I don’t have lately. I’ll take some in a month or two when the pups start coming up... Right now it’s just the big adults, and they are very skittish. A 49 yard shot like that was very lucky to get that close. Normally 100+ yards this time of year in SoCal.

Heres one from Summer 2019, two with one pellet. .25 JSB King in Vulcan Tactic at about 50 yards.

Nice Mike, I’ve been waiting for some more Delta Wolf reports, pictures, stats. I know it’s a lot warmer down there but I haven’t seen hide nor hair of a single digger squirrel up here. The boys and I can’t wait. We’re definitely ready to get out of the house, away from the range and blast some diggers this spring/summer.

Stoti, I can tell you the gun has gotten more accurate as it’s broken in. I had heard it liked the NSA 29 grain slugs from more than one person. Tried them today. One inch groups at 50 yards. No bueno. It’ll stack the .25 Exact Heavy at 50 yards, ten shots under a dime. So far as far as slugs I’ve tried the NSA 29, the FX Hybrid and the JSB KOs. No luck. I bought the gun to shoot pellets, and I already have three super accurate slug guns so I probably won’t pursue slugs any further with the Delta.

Great day with a great shooter (OK, & a nice guy too!) Had a great conversation too about "relative accuracy". Guess "accurate" means different things to different people. If it's a half inch or less at 50 yards I'm good with that for hunting (which I mostly do). I think C'cut demands hole-in-hole @ 150 yds LOL. I do believe his bar is higher than mine! Beautiful day & much appreciated camaraderie. Hope it will be a "target rich" year! BTW I didn't see the kill shot but could hear the unmistakable "thwap" from a looong distance off. That sucker got hit HARD!
