Have shot one, eh... Very nice and all, but... It's just not my thing however I'm not a springer lover either even if it is recoilless.

I collect Art knives so I get that aspect as these are not to be used, only to enjoy looking at.

Definitely would buy a new Thomas slug gun and nice scope instead.

Took a couple shots with one some years ago at the GTA Fun Shoot. I was in awe, so freaked out about being allowed to actually hold and shoot a Wiscombe I don't remember much about it. All I remember was it was very HEAVY.

You're right Mike. That's pretty much why I sold my 80 years back. They are fun to shoot though once you get the hang of cocking 'em. I kept my 50 tip barrel in .177 but it's been shot so much the barrel is a bit wobbly now that accuracy is not there anymore. One year, I'll get brave and try to fix that issue. Bought my 50 really cheap back in the day.

I was always fascinated with the hand-crafted art of this gun. Beautiful and powerful, but accuracy on par with alot of others. Also, it weigh's quite a bit. Just never pulled the wallet trigger for that one but still love seeing it.
