Brand new CHKDIV (i know) compressor, first use connected to same inline filter setup ive been using. It seems great; quiet, charged the gun to 250 just fine, opened the press relief valve all (?) the air blew out quickli BUT, whip will not disconnect from gun. Obviously pressure remaining in the, line? Anybody?

is your filter after the relief valve? if so I would suspect that there's a blockage in the filter not letting it bleed.. did you hook and unhook the Foster fitting before you filled, just to make sure it's not what might be catching?
my next best idea is to very slowly loosen the hose whip from the Foster fill fitting.. less than one turn total should vent the hose and let you release the fitting, but not knowing what the seal is at that spot,if it is a o ring, might be okay but you will probably have to replace it.

I know all Foster fittings ( either "sex") are not the same. I buy all mine from PA & depending on the color (black, stainless etc) some don't marry up well. I have multiple whips & filters & have had to sand some down or change O-rings to allow connection/release. I've had several compressors as well.

Thanks Mark, i think you are spot on, i kust connected evwrything without trying to take any fittings baxk off with no pressure. I thought imwould degas the gun by removing the bottle (and maybe slightly opening both regs) but i will try slightly loosening their filter (which I suspect). The whip came off the compressor easily (before their filter, i have a big one between their filter and the gun). So from their filter to the gun everything is pressurized. Thanks for the help. I seem to have the worst luck with compressors. But life’s good. Gave the squirrels another afternoon off. Lee

So, loosened the bottle, that got everything disconnectable. took apart their small filter and found this. Nothing looks like it in their manual but it is elastic. I will try to put it all back together without whatever oring this is (if its an oring) And see. Nothing like it in their pack of spares either

havent tried the compressor yet, was going to site in my wildcay3 bt As it was fully charged. Gettin close to dialed in and cock lever would not close. Figured i had double fed or it was mt mag. Had to take the mag apart to get it out. Only one pellet in barrel / magwell. So i startd trying sort that out, got it all apart (hs grub screw was at 6mm per fx rowe’s vid). After some tinkerin the lever would close. Put it all back together. Same problem. Took it apart again set hs grub at 4.5mm now see the vid please. I mispeak in the vid, as soonas i put the hammer spring cup and spring bak in and try to cock, it will neither cock nor close fully until i tail drop it slightly, then it will close but not cock

The Wildcat has a very specific reassembly protocol. Unless you marked the position of the air tube clamps, it likely will not function correctly.
Is Ernest Rowe's Masterclass video the one that you watched?

It's pretty well accepted as a good video to reassemble the rifle.

I was going by his “high power tuning” vid. But il watch and save this one. Thanks a bunch!
