Kinda reminds me of some of the guys who overload their ARs with every assessor they can fit on it. An optic, side irons, flashlight, bipod, extended charging handle butt stock with compartments and a multi sling. And a deaths head sticker somewhere. At some point you have too much crap on your gun. Interesting bit of kit though.

Don't we all own at least ONE of those guns with too many accessories? I know I do. Lol. This is interesting though... It would seem like this would eliminate a few of those things and tidy it up in a nice tech package. Obviously weight and balance is a concern, but it's pretty spiffy from a millennials stand point

Pretty sure it would not be allowed, Scrane (in an FT or HFT match situation).

It might be very useful for training up to match level though !

I just thought it was amazing how far these little gizmos' have come-on in recent years

I'd like a digital scope that is linked to a range finder and automatically adjusts the focus and cross hairs based on the distance and wind. I.e. The poi is always in the center of the cross hairs without any further adjustments. 

Oh, and I want it to be less than $500. 

The device in this link doesn't seem worth the weight increase to me.

Like to tell me how an anemometer could be built into this size of kit ?

You might have noticed in the final pic on the Rowan website that an old fashioned windicator is attached to the rifle up-front. Wind speed is what anemometers measure.
