Which PCP?

Hello, I'm looking to buy my first PCP rifle and need some feedback. I'll be doing strictly target and experimental/long range shooting. I don't hunt anymore. My requirements are quality, accuracy, consistency, number of shots per fill, and power (only as to how it will affect trajectory at longer ranges). I'm mainly looking at the FX Streamline walnut, the Air Arms S510 and the Daystate Regal Hunter XL. I'd love to hear your personal experiences and opinions of these. Also, which caliber would best suit my needs? Most of my experience with springers has been .177, but either will be fine as long as it fits my needs.
Thanks very much,
Gary

Hi Gary. I own both the Regal & Streamline & find both rifles have there good & not so good things about them. To save cost I would go for the FX. Both of my rifles are fac ( full power ) & you will find the FX gives you more shot count, consistent fps, & maybe just that bit better hit rate on paper. If you get right down to the small things the Daystate is a bit more smoother in its shooting cycle. I would also go for the .22 over .177. .25 ( the one I have ) is very hard hitting, bit less shot count & slightly more fussy when it comes to what pellet you put through it. Mind you, cant go past the airarms field or jsb. As you said in your right up, EXPERIMENTAL is what it is all about. Now for the other things :). Both rifles ( Daystate & Streamline ) have top fitting mags & thy can be a pain in the butt when it comes to head alignment. Be very sure on the mounts & scope you are going to use. I have hawke mid on my Streamline & Very low sports match on the Daystate with shot try ( no mag ). If like me & you like to get your head right down into the stock then this one is worth thinking about for sure. You can hand pump both rifles in .22 & also .25 but with a bit more of a workout but not to bad really with the shot count you get. Over a range of 30m & setup is good, then it will be pellet on pellet with both. Over say 40m ( 40-60 ) I feel the Streamline has the better hit rate.
