I've had a few crickets in .22 one was a real gem I've now got the priest 2 in .22 l. But i have another itch for a cricket I've seen 2 for sale here in the UK so am I being stupid or shall I go for it rti making slightly more power and few more shots per fill but the cricket is a fair bit shorter and easier for shooting from a vehicle which I do 80% of the time.

Hello Boots, with all the excitement around the new RTI compact, a thought entered my otherwise empty head, while reading your post above the thought resurfaced.
where you to get your hands on a RTI compact barrel (15 3/4" 400mm) and put it in your Priest, then you would have all that extra empty shroud space to supress sound (no mod required?, maybe) and a gun with an overall length of 28"?.
is 28" compact, it is to me, not far of a Cricket.
Of course this may not work, clipping ect.

I'd not thought of that to be honest would have to change probe one has o ring in breech the other on the probe. Could always make a "bush" to screw onto the actual barrel threads and be tight in the shroud to stop movement. I might look into the idea

I've bought a p15 new this week but is only making 25-29.9 in .22 with pellets from 18 grain to 26 grain not quite enough for me but seems to be a good one as it's spot on accurate to 55 yard I got it with my son in mind and drop it to 12ftlb for when he wants to come out around the yard

Ive got a 3000 acre permission crawling with rabbits we cover more ground in the vehicle than on foot plus they don't spook as easily. When were in the farmyard it's easier sitting in the vehicle too as they seem to land quicker than if were stood in the corner or peeking from behind a fence

And 3000 acres to hunt on — WOW! I'm a religious person, and you just added another way of how I can imagine with my limit human imagination how heaven is going to be...!! (OK, maybe there won't be any killing in heaven, but I'm sure that it's going to be awesome — and hunting 3000 acres is one of my earthly definitions of "awesome"!!)

Didn't go for the wst I went synthetic stock instead just need to get my reg up around 120 bar as it's topping out at 13.47fpe at the min hst all the way in.
