Bobbed06, I think the crow felt the breeze from that one. He's smart though. He flew up to a low branch and watched to see what happened and where it came from. It will be interesting to see how long he waits before he comes back.

They are smart critters, thats why I take them first. I like having song birds, but Crows gotta go.

Wow! Nobody likes a crow. Or, I guess a squirrel is the lesser of two evils. This morning I had wood ducks feeding in my yard. Guess they've worked their way up from the pond eating acorns and found my song bird seed. They are beautiful ducks.

Squirrel, The crows are cleaning up. Once the clean up is done THEN Crow! Around here I never get a chance at crows because the Scissor Tail Flycatchers are on them in a flash and drive them away! I have seen a pair take a crow to the ground many times.

Saw him raid a mocking bird nest this week!
This morning our juvenile Red tail hawk kept trying to catch the crow. I ran for the camera but he left before I could video. The hawk kept swooping down on the crows on the ground trying to grab one. They tolerated him for a few attempts just flying a few feet to get away. Then two crows tried chasing him off. The young hawk was doing the right thing, but on the wrong prey. It was hilarious.
