Wow.... what is your definition of "best"? Even just asking which one is most accurate is open to debate and that's only one parameter.
If I were to try to trim down to ONE 22 cal rifle, it would be real tough but my Career 707 would have to be in the running. What makes it the "best" in this scenario is that it's quite accurate, powerful, easy to adjust power, slick, and sturdy. But it's heavy. Unfortunately , I don't yet own a Veteran, but have shot one, as well as a Uragan, and both would likely be as good or better. I DO have a Red Wolf HP and Safari HP which I really love and are marginally more accurate but wouldn't choose them because of the electronics. I'm not saying they're going to fail... just that it's more to WORRY about failing if you're depending on 1 rifle. There are also several Edguns that likely would be in the running but I've not shot one. AND Wolverine, Regal, Royale, RAW...........
Anyway .... a better definition of YOUR best might be helpful. Is price a consideration? Weight? Sturdiness? Appearance? Ergonomics? Ease of repair ? Accuracy? Any one of these could generate a discussion of what is "best".
