Which Gun is best for Hunting?

In all seriousness, list what you plan to hunt and everyone will give you recommendations on what caliber would be suitable. Also list your budget so folks here can recommend the brands and models that fit within your price range. Asking "What's the best?" is such a general term and is so subjective. You need to be a little more specific to get the feedback you want.

Specific recommendations are gonna depend on exactly what you're shooting, but here's a very broad generalization of what I think you should look for in your gun.

Under 75 yards - Short, easy to maneuver, well built

75-100 yards - More emphasis on accuracy and having pellets/slugs that can retain their energy, light weight may or may not still be important for you depending on how you're hunting.

100+ yards - High accuracy and high ballistic coefficient projectiles

Well well, .....tell us what you plan to hunt ( Airguns will have you covered from fly to Bison )

Tell us what terrain you planning to hunt, tell us if mainly is a sit down hunt or you planning to put miles on your booth.

But most of all tell us what kind of money you planning to spend, that is where the major difference in suggestions will be.

You have to help those that want to help you by not asking an open end question.

You may have noticed there are many different types of air guns and also calibers.

A hunting rifle is a tool as as such you need the right tool for the job,so what is the job you as a hunter what to accomplish?

I will take a guess ,a.25 cal.at 900fps and accurate out to 75yds., which leaves you with a PCP.The price range would be from say$600 to $3000;

upgrading your 1st generation impact would be the cheapest and best thing to do , it would be an equalls an m3 even better !

600mm heavy linear .22 , carbon sleeve , human air v3 transfair port with the huma air regulator , new power plenum and thats it u will be amaized with less than 1MOA groups at 100 yard , with heavy slugs like zan 32grains u could hunt even a small pig.
