Which FT class for Pumper?

If I were to shoot a .22 Benji Pumper with 14.3 JSB at 600 fps (11.5 fpe), what class could or would I shoot in? AAFTA
It’s not Pre-charged, so not a PCP.
It’s not a Springer.
It’s under 12 fpe.
It would be closest to a gas ram type break barrel I would think, but not sure.
Anyone run across this before or have an opinion? Thanks!

Its definitely closer to a PCP and nothing much like a gas ram break barrel. As a multi pump pneumatic one could argue that it is precharged if you dont shoot it immediately. Consider the Aspen with its built in PCP pump

I’ve competed in Fun Rifle with this Sheridan once or twice.

We've had shooters at our club run multi-pumps before. Functionally, the power-plant is closer to a PCP than a spring or gas ram rifle. We always nest them into PCP divisions for that reason.

It's about the same as Basic Break Barrel Class.. in that you have to pump between shots... and as a Match Director we let the BBB class shoot the same course as the AAFTA Pistol Field Target course... and if at least 3 compete, (and for the last 5 years in a row, we have given out awards) we give awards for that class too.

Technically I always thought pump rifles were pre-charged. You are just pre-charging each shot by pumping.

I always shot my '63 Sheridan Blue Streak in Hunter PCP. Suffice to say the period-correct 7/8" tube Weaver scope did not rangefind AT ALL. But that made it all the more enjoyable- "Looks like about 40-45 yards; so seven strokes."
