Hi everyone:
I am thinking about getting an Eagle vision scope cam mount for use with my phone. I know a LOT of people are using the SideShot mount, but the Eagle Vision looks a bit more versatile, and not a dedicated to phone or sport cam mount like the SideShot. Both companies I know did their homework and make solid products.
The phone mount will be good enough for me and my iPhone XR which has a great camera on it, IMHO. I own a GoPro Hero 7 Black I use for many things, so I won’t modify it to work on either scope mount. Again the phone will do.
Also, I saw where one guy mounted his iPhone using magnetic to the Eagle Vision and it looked solid. For my car I mount my phone on a MegaMount which uses magnets. And I will say my iPhone mounts to the MegaMount with a death grip, so i believe the magnets will work to keep the phone mounted to the Eagle Vision plate without fail because I have a spare MegaMount magnet to use on it.
But I would still like some input from some field people.
