Which Blind is Easiest to Put Up And Take Down

Bought a Primos Double Bull and cannot get it up or down easily enough to use hunting. 3 different people have worked with this thing and nobody does it without significant effort. Also watched two videos of somebody demonstrating it and followed what we could step by step and didn't do much better. Even though rated highly I think this thing is a POS! I am done with it. Even has a couple of small rips where the seams have been subjected to so much pressure they opened up. Primos has a lifetime warranty they are honoring fairly consistently but not returning to get the same issue back after repair. Maybe this one was assembled incorrectly.

Enough of the rant...please if somebody has personal experience with a blind and it's super easy to take up and down share with me what it is.

Lol! All jokes aside I personally use a camo burlap style tarp that I picked up at Walmart I believe. I just use sticks and wrap it around or over where ever I am. I know its not a dream blind but its super easy to carry out because it rolls up to fit in a backpack with your gear. Just my 2cents!

Its not the same in the picture, but its up in about 3-5mins, thats pretty fast...At least that's what the wife says 😂

I am drawn to the GHOST BLIND - which I first saw here on AGN. It is made up of mirrored panels that reflect the surroundings - so it always is the best match for camo. I am only debating if I want the tall set, which you shoot from a chair or bucket (and can draw a compound bow while using) or the low set, which one sits on the ground to use. The blind uses accordion folds to make transport and set-up easy.

I have owned and used Double Bull blinds since the early 2000’s and have never had a problem with them. The hub style blinds work great and they reduce wind flap which spooks animals. You just have to learn how to use them. Primos post videos on how to set them up and usually it is Keith Bean doing the demo, he is one of the original Double Bull owners. Blinds are great for concealing movement and great for taking new hunters and kids out who have trouble staying still. Sorry you had a bad experience with your blind. The key to setting them up properly is opening the roof hub first, then the sides. Same on take down, drop the roof hub first, support it with one hand while you pull in on the side hubs. Once you are down to one wall only pull it up over your head and collapse it. I can usually have the blind set up in less than 15 seconds, tear down, just a few seconds more. Hope this helps. On this particular Double Bull it took two hands to pull the side hub out. Literally had to stand on the bottom of the blind and pull hard. I really think this one was defective. I tried a couple more at Cabelas when I bough an Asmistep Doghouse and the hubs moved easily on almost any brand they had on display. Appreciate your description and effort to help but we had an Ipad right next to us and followed the example you cite above step by step. The Doghouse, although not as high of quality, about $80 Vs $225, even an idiot can put it up. and it folds into a 30" circle.
