Omega Super Charger, bought used 9 years ago, 94 hours. Did a gear box repair a couple of years ago, other than that just keeps pumping.

Tuxing twin cylinder ( over a year old). Oil filled pressure gauge, water temp gauge. High flow water pump, two fans, two in- line filters, synthetic compressor oil

2 Tuxings, 011 was bought last year and 012 in 2021 installed a rebuild kit and still going strong as the 011. I fill 6.8 CF tanks to 4300- 4400 psi.

MY Original Omega bought with a Daystate Pulsar Saxon when the gun first came out . Both still going strong .

Good ole Airetex 45 . After 9 years , just chugging along. Shown here topping off my buddy's 6000 psi nitrogen bottle . I fill it to 5000 psi and it lasts him a year . Good thing too , cause that sucker is HEAVY !!.

Of my 5 compressors I have 2 of them set up right now. 2 are in some state of repair and 1 is one of those small Chinese portable boxes that I rarely even use (Orcair). It lives in the Castin' Shack.
This morning I reorganized my compressor station/table in the shop. I moved a non working compressor off to free up some space and changed from a 5gal water supply to a 3 gallon vessel and repurposed an old router table as a stand. I also repurposed a standing guitar rack to stand guns in for filling. Next I'll mount that coolant temp gauge in the leg of the stand and repaint the stand.

For a trial run I topped that 30 minute scba tank up from 3500psi to 4200psi. The compressor temp rose to 130f and held and the coolant supply temp went from 78f to 80f. Total run time was less than 10 minutes.

Not bad for a 3 year old Yong Heng that is still stock. I change oil regularly and don't fill tanks often because I don't use tanks often.

I used to use my Altaros booster, it served me well for years and one day it stopped building pressure. After many emails back and forth, I gave up trying to fix it and went with Tuxing twin. Seco 500 oil and so far, so good. Way faster too, it will put 1000 psi in my 45 minute tank in 10 minutes. Used to take the Altaros 45.

Been running an Alkin W31 Mariner for around 4 years. It tops off bottles fast and can handle consecutive SCBA tank fills without fail. To fill SCBA tanks from empty takes longer because I will generally stop after around 5 minutes or when the SCBA tanks starts feeling very warm to allow them to cool. I don’t anticipate buying another compressor.

This Airtex45 has served me well for the last 9 years. Will fill a 97 Cu Ft tank from empty in 25 minutes, top off from 2500psi in 12 minutes and never gets overheated no matter how many tanks you fill. Has not needed any repairs yet.

I have an early 80s Bauer Purus and I just bought thI Air Venturi locally for a song. The Bauer will need new valves soon (I’ve actually made valve parts on my lathe to keep it going) and hopefully the AV compressor will step in while it’s down.

To my understanding Airetex is no longer in business. Alkin has taken their place. It’s where Airetex users get their parts and service. Look at the year on the bottom of the webpage linked in the quote. Several threads support my claim. Below is a link one. Search the threads and you can easily find others making similar claims.

It appears that Airetex is no more. I have been unable to contact Airetex for several weeks and drove by their location to find an eviction notice on the door. No response to emails or phone calls. Hopefully Alkin can supply any needed parts in the future.

Bruce Dodson, the owner of Airetex, as far as I know quit producing/ selling any compressors in about 2016. His compressors were pretty much just rebadged Alkin compressors. I don't know how much was engineered by Airetex but the compressor, filters, etc. were all Alkin. I think he still sells compressors but mostly Chinese imports, good products but not at the same level as the Alkins.
I can say , I am not disappointed with my purchase as i would have spent much more than the price of the compressor by having to rely on paintball/scuba shops for air.
