I just got my FX tuner to put on my .22 caliber Maverick sniper and was wondering if I should use the .22 adapter or go one size up to the .25 to install the moderator like DonnyFL suggests when you get one of his units?

Depends on the moderator brand. Keep it to the caliber of the projectile for max effectiveness. A well-machined moderator shouldn't have clipping issues...
The new DFL's are over-bored and come in 22/25 or 25/30 as the tolerances aren't as tight.

Use the one that best matches the caliber that you are shooting. FX made the product and should know what they are doing. By now.
