Which .30 calibers are ruling the line in the 100 yard game?

I'm thinking about a long range rifle. I would prefer .30 as our laws here in Alabama allow deer hunting with .30 pcp rifles. My BR and HFT rifle is a RAW HM1000 in .17. I like the RAW rifles but I haven't bought anything in years and would like to know what's available.

I'm not looking for a dedicated Bench Rest rifle but I am looking for a rifle with BR accuracy if placed in a BR stock if that makes any sense. With my .17 RAW I've shot in the 720's in Light Varmint. I'm looking to break 730 and would be ecstatic to shoot a 740. None of these scores would get me on the podium but I'm shooing against myself and trying to learn how to better call the wind. And this is my hunting rifle and FT rifle.

It's be the same with the new rifle. I want it to be superbly accurate but I also want to take it hunting occasionally. Anyway, what say you?

Thanks for the input.

I have had excellent results with my RAW .25 at 100 yards. As well as a Daystate Red Wolf HP in .22 caliber. A good friend of mine (Roger Lait also known as Triple-G Roger Lait on YouTube) has a Daystate RW Safari in .25 that is lights out.

I don’t have any experience with FX in .30 but I am sure others do and will chime in.

Tuff choice for sure.

OP: one thing you do not mention is if you want to shoot slugs or pellets or both. That will have influence on recommendations. I don’t shoot slugs, but for pellets,

I second the RTI Prophet. Here is the Out of the Box target. ( first time with it) and unsorted FX 44’s, no adjustments made at all. Only thing I did was clean the barrel first. 60 shots total. No rear bag or monopod either. Bore sighted in at 50 for the two and moved it to 100 for the remainder. Kept the same holdover/windage for the grouping to show. Just under 950fps avg.

I chose the RTI over fx, raw, daystate, etc for the simplicity of design. Fewer potential leak points and not many bells and whistles to go wrong. Only issue to me is a cheek rest, but there are guys 3d printing them as well as adjustable butt hooks and monopods.
