Where’s Dr. Mike and Biohazardman?

That’s how he got the name Yodoyle towards the end.

I’ve got knifemakers contact info I’ll give him a shout and tell him we’re all a wondering
I've had the pleasure of speaking with 'yodoyle' on the phone...he's quite an interesting character. He made what I thought was going to be a 10 min phone call stretch into almost an hour.

I do miss Doc Mike, good guy and fun to chat with. I'm with the rest of you...I have a feeling he fell out of the hobby. Hope he's doing well--good dude.

There could be many factors involved. I was an Archery Talk guy for years. Had quite a few internet friends there. When too many been bow hunting 5 years, thin skinned know it alls started showing up, it started to not be so fun. They loved to argue with their minimal knowledge. Then we started getting time-outs for not being PC and it was funny at first. Then most of us left. It’s the evolution of a forum. It’s a shame because when you or someone else has a problem, there are certain names you would like to see show up to help. When those guys are gone, and it’s happening here, who are you getting advice from? A guy who knows less than you? All that really matters is that guys like Knife and Bio are healthy and are still enjoying life. Guys like Dr. Mike are common in hobbies. I call them comets.
I'm glad I'm not the only who's noticed.

I am a bit concerned about BioMan, as some of his threads from past I see stuff deleted?

Wasn’t he moving out of State the last we heard from him?

As far as Dr Mike Long, his lack of involvement in the forums started right when Covid came about, he still posted a bit letting all know how busy he was with his long shifts. About that time he posted a thread asking members which gun to buy that he’d never owned before, to outshoot a fellow Dr in some competitive bet where whoever lost had to hand his weapon over to the other, like raving for pinks.

You all remember that? We never did hear back the results.

I also remember he had a new AV compressor fail and he was frustrated with that episode.

Maybe you all are right. Maybe he’s moved on to another hobby.

And yes, like was mentioned, he did assist the vets a lot by taking them air gunning.

There’s another chap that recently disappeared, and although he was more popular on the GTA, he was making his way here, also and that’s the KNIFEMAKER Mike
I was wondering about Knifemaker a couple of days ago also and couldn't remember his handle.
That CRS disease kicking in again.

I just read this thread and revived it when I was searching for BioHazardman. He still hasn't posted and I'm wondering if he is at the great airgun range in the sky? I'm 75 myself and hope I have another decade or so in this hobby. This year I've revived my interest in powderburners and reloading. Is it just me or has the price of pellets and slugs compared to cast bullets gotten much less difference than it had been? Larger caliber slugs cost way more apiece than cast bullets do.
