Come to field target matches is you want to play with the toys, in .177 anyways. Also New England Airgun is a lead free shooting range so take what is considered accuracy with a grain of salt. Otherwise there are no other brick and mortar airgun stores in new england, or the north east.

ok ill check it out under a hour from my home i think irs a shame no stores in this region im not sure but it seems if there was one it may do well thanks guys and i do plan on going to some matchs to meet u good folk put faces to the names so to speak

Cabelas is also in Hudson Ma. & East Hartford CT. Sells mostly Springers (Gamo, Umarex, Crosman, Benjamin,Remington) but you can hold them first. Also sells pellets, targets, ect.....

What the other guys are sort of dancing around is simply that there are very few retail stores that are knowledgeable about and sell QUALITY airguns. Yes there are some big box guys that carry airguns but they are generally lower priced and lower quality. Most regular gunshops know little about airguns. Most quality airguns are purchased from the bigger mail order sellers. I also would like to touch and feel before I buy, but with airguns it is difficult, if not impossible. The best thing to do is to go to a match and check out what the guys are shooting. Different matches required different guns however. A ten meter match gun is not suitable for field target and vice versa and if you want to hunt with it that's also a different story. Check out the forums, read the reviews and that will at least give you a starting point.
