Where's all my Pennsylvania PCP shooters at ?

Looking to share my love of the airgun with any locals out there I'm currently shooting my Vulcan.25 and my Benjamin Discovery.22 a little but not so much now that I got the Vulcan. I live in Lancaster county yes it's pure Amish country out here but their good people.

Your guns don't seem to be type for competition but there are two clubs in PA that have airgun programs other than 10 meter. Palmyra has 10 meter matches. Delaware County Field and Stream Assn. has various airgun matches and Falls Twsp. Rifle and Pistol Assn. in Bucks County shoots approved NRA silhouette matches and AAFTA sanctioned Field Target matches. Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers and Palmerton used to have some airgun activity but attendance was so poor they stopped.

I'm in Maryland about 20 miles south of Gettysburg. I have a cabin in Potter County......Cherry Springs. beautiful country.

Very familiar with Potter county and the Cherry Springs area. I am about a 90 minute drive west of there.

I also shoot almost everyday I moved from Washington County Maryland last year to Lancaster, Pennsylvania but if anyone wants to make a weekend out of a airgun hunting trip and knows where we can camp and shoot I'll throw some money in to support an airgunners getaway weekend.

I didn't think hunting with an air gun was legal in Pa. Did they change something?

I'm near the PA border but in ohio , nearest town is Sharon Pa.

No in Pennsylvania it's still illegal to hunt with an airgun for some stupid reason but if we were on someone's personal property we could do it legally. This law makes no sense that's why I'm constantly breaking it. I rarely hunt on game land so it's not like I violate this stupid law anyway but I really don't see a game warden making a big fuss over an airgun anyway.

It is my understanding you cannot hunt any animal of any kind ANYWHERE in the state of Pennsylvania. This comes directly from a PA Game Commission Officer. He explained to my brother we cannot even shoot a rat and if we did and he found out, we would be cited. Yeah PA Game Commission. :<(

Yeah that's why I mostly stick to private property but it sucks because that limits your shooting space. I think the law makers are really unaware of how far airgun technology has advanced, some airgun are almost as powerful and precise as traditional firearms these days.

I'm in Radnor PA near Villanova. I have several airguns with my FX Crown Continuum being my go to at the moment. I've got 4500psi compressors and tanks and ready to go shoot when anyone else is up for it. There's two ranges within 20 minutes of me and one has a dedicated airgun range

Hi everyone I’m in Berks county. The township is Mertztown. I shoot on my property (poverty acres), and shot field target for many years back in the 80’s and 90’s. I currently shoot a brocock bantam sniper in .177, a daystate huntsman in .22, a venom lazaglide 80, a beeman r7, and a air arms tx200 hc. Currently I shoot a.t home both inside and outside but have decided to get back into field target this spring. Looks like falls township is the closest match.
