Air Arms Where to source a pro elite piston seal

I have had great luck in the past with ordering from Chambers and Knibs. They are helpful and handle shipping well, but unfortunately do not control the couriers or customs agents...

I am gonna plug ProtekSupplies as well. Super helpful staff, and a deep supply of weird and wonderful parts.

Don't know if you read this

Maybe some interesting info in it on that gun

P.s...

I seen you posts around some like 3 years back (2023,?). On this sane thing .

Anyways one yhing i neglected to post in here was the guys reworking the piston face/ anvil to accept the hw seal

I guess this one

There saying it makes a better fit and dont need epoxy glueing on to hold it on the piston head as the factory aa seal .

The PE seals are prone to popping off, so make sure that you epoxy the new one onto the piston head.

Looking at that pe piston head i can see why now .. not much to grab a hold on ...

Still that machine work would be last ditch effort if no other choice to reseal.

Id go get them at Chambers and glue then call it good as a conversation peice or a few shots to keep it from seizing up.. / collector item gun

Pro Elite seal design was the janitors job at the engineers lunch.
it’s HORID.
WORSE IVE SEEN , it needs to be converted. It’s not if. It’s when it will come off and burn up as they are softer material and poorly made . There is no glue that will hold urethane to metal under pounding heat and rotation. Been there got the tee shirt.

Lots can be done to the gun , to improve it. Many want to lean on it for power. It’s not any bigger than a R1 in stroke but uses a 400 gram piston WAY to heavy for a 80 mm stroke

I lightened my piston as well as made a custom 300 gram one and did some stroke work as well as piston and ports.
it shoots any where from 15 to 24 ft lbs depending on the set up

I like it at 18 for my preference. Very easy cocking with a light spring and piston

this is a modded design of one that’s using a slight stroke and Hw head.
