where to shoot

 Im in MASS so trying to find out where can i shoot, whats the law ,i read the basics,but theres no its ok to shoot a pellet rifle here ,but not here ,like can i go in public woods and shoot paper targets this is crazy ,ive talked with a couple agencies and everything conflicts please if you know let me know thanks pat

I am in Massachusetts as well 
i go shooting sometimes at New England Airgun in Hudson or at one of the local clubs with a member. 
There is a open range called Wayne's around Worcester but I have not been there yet. 
I live in the Framingham area, where abouts are you?

I'd ask a sheriff if they know of anyplace you can shoot legally or find a land owner that believes in the 2nd amendment and ask them.

im about 10 miles north of of Boston,,, trying to find out where i can legally shoot outside of any clubs or ranges,,,, ive been looking at satelite photos ...theres plenty of open swatches of land ,,powerlines and such ,wish i was sure of the law,, on the ma gov page it states any violation of the law will result in,, no more than a $100 fine and confiscation of and destruction of violaters weapon ... $3000 is a lot so im reluctant.. thank you fellow members for advice pat

One of the great things about airguns is you can shoot in your house without having to always go to a range.

i got 40 yards cleared out ..and can add 15 yards more. problem is i need to be elevated ,property is on two level i have a old swing set pirates nest i plan on using so i can elevate...i would like to really stretch this out the gun yearns to prove its worth and is waiting,, thanks guys PAT

Hello, I live in Maryland and I was told that as long as I didn't live in the city I could shoot a pellet gun legally in my backyard.
