I live in a small town and nowhere to fill an air tank with a 4500 psi tank. Just wondering can a fire station fill carbon fiber tanks?

You'll have to ask, all fire dept. have to have a source for HPA. They're getting it somewhere!

They can if they have a compressor and if your tank has the CGA347 valve connector. But that don't mean they will fill it. I had to search hard to find a station that would fill mines. I'm lucky that I have many places to get mines filled including a paintball shop near me that only charge $3 to fill mines.

I just called around where I live which is also a small town. The only place I found said they only fill CO2 paintball tanks not PCP rifle tanks. I am new so I don't know what the difference is other than I may have to buy an adapter. They also said they only fill by weight....does this sound correct?

Call the fire dept and ask who fill their tanks. Normally it's a fire safety company. If the fire dept has compressors and will fill yours there are many places you can get the correct adapter.
