Where to buy good o-rings?

Just as title says but here's what happened. I recently was shooting my .25 flex when my probe o-ring took a dump so I thought I would just remove barrel completely and do a cleaning and inspection but somewhere in the process I tore one of the 2 barrel outer o-rings,lol so now I need 1 probe and 1 outer barrel o-ring. Meh just my luck:)

Soo who or where to buy good quality o-rings from?

I don't want to steal your thread, but I've been looking that this too. Is there a basic kit/box kit one could purchase that covers say 90 percent of all o-rings used. 

Would a 36 different size oring kit cover all the orings needed for most common pcp rifles. Or is the size variance so much that you'd need 50 different orings to cover two different rifle. Say a Marauder and a Fx Wildcat? 

My thoughts are this one blown oring can ruin a fun day of shooting. I've seen too many people post on this problem. I just want to cover my bases.

Flex outer barrel oring # 012

25cal breech/probe oring #010

You can get those from home depot, lowes and etc. Real easy to find orings on flex.

Of course you can order from those online stores above.

And DO NOT put 2 outer orings and put the barrel back in.

Leave the rear outer oring off, slide the barrel into breech then put the rear oring and a c-clip from the breech side.

A transfer port may tear the rear oring when barrel pulled out / in.

For uninstall, remove the c-clip, the rear oring then pull the barrel out.

The O-ring thing drives me crazy. How do you know what material an O-ring is made of, and how do you know which is sufficient?

I am an outboard tech and the O-rings used on them are color coded for the different hardness qualities (black, gray, blue, orange). All O-RINGS in airguns are just BLACK and appear to be no different than the ones used in faucets and everything else.

I just bought every size O ring I need for an Impact X from Orings and more. 13 different sizes, all packs were labeled and had between 25 and 50 rings except one which "only" held 10. With free shipping for any order over $15, my total was $23.55. It arrived in 4 days. I got all the sizes I needed off the FX site.

When I placed my order I thought it would be sent with a lot of "out of stock" notices. I mean who has rings like: 2.90 X 1.78 90, or 2.84 X 2.62 90? They had it all.

Lol,I did exactly what I shouldn't have, that's how I tore an o-ring by incorrectly removing and then incorrectly installing.

Great sources for o-rings posted above. You can also find them at Ace Hardware, Amazon, etc.

fishinwrench brought up an excellent point. Knowing the material and shore of the required o-ring is key. There are about 50 different international names for different blends of plastic, rubber, teflon, silicone, etc. that go into different material blends for o-rings. Softer silicone rings can provide a more versatile seal in lower-pressure applications, but they can be very soft and tear/wear easily. If you want a medium-hardness o-ring that has excellent all-around temperature and wear characteristics under various pressures, a Viton o-ring is always a good starting point.
