Where do you go?

Wow, so I'm not the only person who struggles to enjoy their airgun. It upsets me to just look at such fine craftsmanship and not be able to use it! Some of you guys are pretty lucky to have property big enough to enjoy the sport. I drive for Amazon so I'm usually in a rural area (township) where there's plenty open land but the commute is what deters me as well as the foreign territory.

I just wish there were air gun shooters close enough to come out and enjoy. I live north east north Carolina, about 50 min drive from Norfolk, Newport News, 20min from Suffolk, va. I can fill your tanks with quality air too. Barry

Man I almost want to move to NC just to have a shooting buddy that's an awesome area in your yard Barry I'm jealous

it's a bit barren and frigid at this point, but I am so glad to have purchased a new home this past year that has 3 acres w it that I can have my own range on! I've been building up a collection of targets for the past 3 months or so and currently have a 25, 50 , and 75 yard cardholder target setup, as well as some spinners, gongs, and knock-ons at every distance between 15-100. It just feels so nice to brew a cup of coffee in the morning and go do this!

The majority of my shooting is done in my backyard where I can shoot to 55 yds which makes it perfect for practicing for field target. If I want to stretch its legs and shoot further I go to a farm 1/4 mile up the road from me where I shoot in a 10acre grass field...I have a bench set up there and it's perfect for practicing field target in some wind and for 100 yard bench rest shooting. I'm in Ohio too and don't think I'd have a hard time finding other places to shoot.

I'm lucky to live on 10 acres in a rural area. Have 125 yard range setup in the yard with the bench 10 steps from the door. No restrictions on what I can shoot but I enjoy the airguns so much that I haven't bothered with the powder-burners in years.

Things are getting tight around here with most of the shooting pits/quarries being posted. The guys brought it on themselves, for decades the land owners didn't mind the shooting but when people started leaving broken glass, torn up tin cans, empty shells and all kinds of crap lying around the signs went up.

Its different now, all of my permissions don't allow any powder burners at all - especially rimfires!

Decided many years ago that I would always have a place to hunt and shoot so my wife and I bought a farm out in the country in an air gun friendly state, TN., 117AC. Private property is the way to go, wasn't easy but was worth the price and hassle, friends and family always have a place to hunt and shoot, hunting, shooting is a way of life and the norm in this area, all private property around with "people of like mind" for neighbors, my one neighbor took me flying in his plane, we took pictures of our properties from the air. My heart goes out to those of you having issues finding places to enjoy our sport, I don't foresee things getting any better...on occasion I've had "members" as my guest at the farm for shooting and trying out each other's guns, always had a great time and treated

each other like long lost friends.

I live in a city but 25 years ago I bought a couple of acres in a rural area just south of the Mohawk river valley of NY state. Between me and my 3 neighbors there's over 20 acres of old farmland criss crossed with old stone walls . I have a small cabin which has always been a work in progress... someday I'll finish it. This is where I keep and shoot my airguns. When I'm up there I enjoy that luxury of shooting when ever and where ever I want. There's also 500 acres of state land a mile down the road from me.

I had always hoped of living up there full time. I'm not sure now if that will ever happen but ya never know.
