Where can I get a Yong Heng Piston and upper assembly?

aliexpress usually has the Yong Heng parts although their search function just downright sucks. Replacement is a fairly straight forward procedure although unless you have the simple version you will need to use some of the plumbing from your original unit. If you do have the simple version I would HIGHLY suggest you just go ahead and upgrade now to one of the "Hardcopy" or "Set Pressure" compressors that have the water separator included. This will save you troubles down the line. Keep your old compressor for a parts unit. With all of the vids above it should not be too difficult of a job.

The water separator NOT found on the simple version but present on the picture in the above post, the aluminum block with the red plastic cap on it, separates much of the moisture and oil from the system. When you manually purge the system every few minutes it ejects the water and oil it has collected out of the purge port.

Without this cyclone filter assembly you will be changing your filters quite often or pumping loads of oil and moisture into your guns and tanks.

Yeah thanks guys. Found a water separator with the tubes. Is that all I need? Also where can I find the parts for the auto shutoff too?

Somebody else tried to add the cyclone water separator to a basic unit a couple of months ago. I think that he found that the pipe fittings that connect the tubes to the heads were a different size and he was having trouble finding ones that would fit. As for the preset shutoff parts. You will need this relay https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32989852928.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.1.1cdd2e2bdc7Pa1&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.14976.165864.0&scm_id=1007.14976.165864.0&scm-url=1007.14976.165864.0&pvid=faeed570-9b5f-454c-a3af-beaa8f8bbd48&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller,scm-url:1007.14976.165864.0,pvid:faeed570-9b5f-454c-a3af-beaa8f8bbd48,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%2377_668%23808%234093%2396_668%23888%233325%237_4976%230%23165864%230_4976%232711%237538%23679_4976%233104%239653%239_4976%233141%239887%237_668%232846%238112%23576_668%232717%237559%2317_668%231000022185%231000066056%230_668%233422%2315392%23268 as well as the new gauge. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000614706714.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.23.652ea5035a86FZ&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.14976.165864.0&scm_id=1007.14976.165864.0&scm-url=1007.14976.165864.0&pvid=e21e8d94-5cd7-4e0e-9903-1cc4e19875b7&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller,scm-url:1007.14976.165864.0,pvid:e21e8d94-5cd7-4e0e-9903-1cc4e19875b7,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%2372_668%23808%234093%2396_668%23888%233325%237_4976%230%23165864%230_4976%232711%237538%23679_4976%233104%239653%239_4976%233141%239887%237_668%232846%238112%23576_668%232717%237559%2317_668%231000022185%231000066056%230_668%233422%2315392%23268 It is cheaper to buy them as a pair but I couldn't find the link. IMO neither conversion is worth the expense or the 6-8 weeks it will take for the parts to arrive. But if you have to wait for parts anyway, you may consider it to be worthwhile. I have an autostop version but I have chosen to disconnect it, preferring to turn it off manually. It appears that the prices for spare parts have dropped since the last time I looked. It probably has something to do with the longer shipping times putting people off ordering stuff because of the plague.
