Where can I get a Sample Pack of .25 cal Hunting Pellets?
I would like to try out:
Predator Polymags
H&N Crow Magnums
H&N Barracuda Hunter Extremes 


Also If you have any other suggestions for a good hunting pellet please share.

Many people, myself included, get great results out of the 25.4 gr. JSB Kings. Some with guns making 50 ft. pounds like the Heavy Kings. It might be helpful to know what you will be shooting them out of.

I am using a Benjamin Marauder and an Armada... Mostly the Armada... set to factory specs.


I am shooting at pigeons with a range of 10 to 30 yards.

My concerns:
I want to drop them with chest shots fast

I don't want too much over penetration if posable

Is there any difference with the Beeman Crow Magnum .25 and the H&N Crow Magnum .25

The best 3 pellets in my .25 Marauder were JSB Kings, Benjamin Domed and PolyMags. All the "hunter" pellets I tried looked like a shotgun after a full magazine.

As bill_dd97 posted they are the best accuracy. A not so popular pellet is the .25 Destroyer the flat head does not penetrate as much as the domes. They shoot well at close distances in the Marauders and I got lucky and found them mispriced once at a Walmart pricing them the same as the .177's The regular pricing makes them one of the cheapest pellets and an excellent choice for 100 feet and under
